MakeMusic arrangerer en internasjonal Masterclass-session (public undervisning av to forhåndsvalgte elever) og en workshop i korsang med Shillong Chamber Choir. Kammerkoret fra India er internasjonalt kjent, og har vunnet en rekke priser, bl.a. India’s Got Talent i 2010. De har jevnlig større konserter på høyt nivå. Sjekk ut deres egen nettside her.
I Masterclass vil vi ta for oss hvordan man kan tilpasse seg ulike sjangre og scenarier. I workshopen etterpå deler vi oss i fire grupper (sopran/alt/tenor/bass) og øver på en sang som vi synger sammen. Til slutt en kort opptreden av Shillong Chamber Choir.

MakeMusic is organizing an international Masterclass session and a choral workshop with the Shillong Chamber Choir from India. Known for winning «India’s Got Talent» in 2010, the choir is internationally recognized and regularly performs high-level concerts. Check out their own website.
The Masterclass will focus on adapting to various genres and scenarios. In the workshop, participants will be divided into four groups (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) to practice a song for a joint performance. The event concludes with a performance by the Shillong Chamber Choir.
